Family Support Services
As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll be responsible to provide in-home support to children and adults for short periods of time by providing assistance with life skills development, health maintenance and medication administrations, personal care, and behavioral development.
Autism Respite Care Provider
Day Program (Autism Voucher & Waiver)
Autism respite care providers will provide 1:1 services to families receiving funding from the autism waiver and autism voucher. This is a family-directed service; the family will provide any specific training and provide any materials they want to use with their child. Services may take place in the home or in the community.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Behavior Support Program
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you’ll evaluate and develop appropriate interventions for children using applied behavior analysis. You’ll perform functional behavior assessments, develop and implement behavior support plans, and stay up-to-date on insurance and billing requirements.
Behavior Support Program
Provide one-on-one therapy to children with developmental disabilities – including autism spectrum disorder – as a Behavior Technician. As a Behavior Technician, you’ll be responsible to implement behavioral interventions to help reduce problematic behaviors and increase desirable replacement behaviors.
Volunteer & Internship Opportunities
Just like our staffed employees, we also take pride in our volunteers and interns and their dedication to providing excellent, quality care for each individual. Between volunteer and internship opportunities, there’s no shortage of ways you can make a difference at the North Dakota Autism Center.
Most volunteer hours are between 7:30am – 5:30pm Monday-Friday. Fundraising and special events are an exception and are usually one day for a few hours in a row.
